1968 ESTUDIANTES V MANCHESTER UNITED WORLD CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RARE ORIGINAL PROGRAMME, BROCHURE & PRESS FOLDER Extremely scarce Estudiantes v Manchester United official programme for the World Cup Championship Final first leg, in Buenos Aries on 25 September, 1968. Also very rare Official Brochure / Booklet This 22-page programme, which came in a large folder with other match-related items, was only given to member of the press and VIPs. Only a handful made it back to the UK, with total numbers currently extant thought to be less than 10. (This programme had its rusting staples replaced by Eamonn Fitzmaurice to stop them damaging the programme with age.) The Booklet is in good condition for age With the large official Estudiantes hardback “foletto” folder, with club crest on the cover, which contained a range of items – including the programme - relating to the first leg of the World Club Championship against Manchester United in Buenos Aires on 25 September 1968. Available to VIPs and the media only. A rare opportunity to acquire this historic, and one of the scarcest, Manchester United programme, in its original press folder. This was collected by a former UK sports writer/sub-editor, who obtained the items personally through his work or from fellow sports journalists at home and abroad. Ref LWW
